Hi All, my name is Richard Flax and I spent most of my life in the restaurant business as a Owner, Chef, Bartender, Waiter and etc. Back in the early 90’s I had a BBQ at my house and literally everyone at the party said were can we get more of this BBQ sauce?

I said “I made it”, and proceeded to hook-up everyone with BBQ sauce since as as a Chef I never make small quantities.

Before I knew it, I was selling BBQ sauce to friends of friends of friends in mason jars with everyone telling me. “this is better then the sauce we have purchased in the stores”.

After 15 years of hearing that, I bottled my first sauce for sale in stores. Two years later I entered my first contest and won a 2nd place ribbon at the American Royal. That was the first of many ribbons!
